Al congresso dell’ American Historical Association si parla di Massoneria



In occasione del 130° congresso dell’ American Historical Association, che si terrà ad Atlanta dal 7 al 10 gennaio prossimo, sul tema: Global Migrations: Empires, Nations, and Neighbors, un panel sarà dedicato alla libera-muratoria con il titolo: Freemasonry: The World’s First Global Social Network. Durante i lavori, diretti da Richard Berman, dell’Oxford Brookes University , saranno presentate le seguenti relazioni: Navigating the “Republic of Masonry”: Print Culture in Masonic Communication and Connection in the 18th-Century Atlantic and Beyond Hans Schwartz, Clark University Ancients or Moderns? Reflections on the Genesis of American Freemasonry Richard Berman, Oxford Brookes University Caliban and the Widow’s Sons: Some Aspects of the Intersections and Interactions between Freemasonry and Afro-Caribbean Religious Praxis Eoghan Craig Ballard, History Miami Museum & Roosevelt Center for Civic Society and Freemasonry. Gli organizzatori del congresso hanno ritenuto importante inserire questo panel con l’obiettivo di cercare di far luce sul ruolo della Massoneria, come fenomeno internazionale, chiarendone la natura e illustrandone gli scopi.
